A white Coton de Tulear standing on grassThe year 2000 brought the National Specialty to Woodstock, Ontario, a town that would go on to host the club more than once in the years that followed. It was the start of a new decade and, for the breed in Canada, the start of a new chapter.

About the National Specialty

The National Specialty is the club's main show of the year. It brings together Cotons from across Canada and gives breeders and owners a chance to see the breed at its best. Results from each year are kept here so the history of the breed in Canada stays in one place.

As of 2026, the club is working through the older show records to make sure every year is listed. Some years are complete, some are still being filled in. Thank you for your patience while the archive is rebuilt.
