During the All-Breed Shows organized by the Canine Association of Nova Scotia, April 16 and 17, 2016, the CCTC held its annual specialty.  The show was held under the auspices of the Canine Federation of Canada. 

 

The judge was Ms Sylvie Desserne, a well-known FCI judge from France.

 

7 Cotons were registered and Saturday afternoon they were all ready to go in the ring with their owners/handlers.  There were 3 male and 4 females:

  • 3 in the elementary puppy class
  • 1 in the puppy class
  • 1 in the intermediate class
  • 1 in the open class
  • 1 in the champion class

 

It was Mrs. Joyce Lea-Hanson who had the pleasure to judge our Cotons.

- Best Puppy: Mi Toi’s I didn’t Mean To Make U Want Me @ Shiloh – Breeders:  Luis Ortiz and Carmen Ortiz -  Owner and handler: Kellie Bruce

- Winner Female:  Jade du Domaine de Polana – Breeder, owner:  Marie-France Prayal- Handler:  Linda Brookes

- Best of Breed and Speciality: Alika Tia Three Stooges Curly – Breeder:  Linda Brookes – Owner and handler:  Linda Brookes

 

After the completion of the show, we gathered for some camaraderie, food, and drink.

 

All the participants enjoyed being together.  It was a great Specialty and also a great weekend!
