National Specialty 2007

Multi International Champion, Multi BIS, International Specialty Winner 2007, Top Coton USA 2007, Multi Champion Simba of Cotonnelle - Breeder: Valerie Ford of Cotonnelle / Owners: Luis Ortiz and Pam Osborne

 

Coton de Tulear, National Specialty – Kingston, June 23, 2007

During the show organized by the Canine Federation of Canada in St-Hyacinthe, June 23 and 24, the CCTC was holding its annual specialty.

Saturday morning, very early (the specialty started at 8:30), 22 Cotons were ready to go in the ring with their owners.  There were 13 males and 8 females:

  • 1 in the elementary puppy class
  • 3 in the puppy class
  • 9 in the junior class
  • 2 in the intermediate class
  • 6 in the open class
  • and 1 in the champion class.

It was Mrs. Denys Janssen, a Columbia judge who had the pleasure to judge our Cotons.

 

Here are the results:

Best of breed and Best of the Specialty :  Ch Simba of Contonnelle.  Breeder:  Valerie Ford;  owners:  Randal and Pam Osborne and Luis Ortiz

Best puppy of the breed :  Mi-Toi Tonka toy at Sirius.  Breeders/owners :  Luis et Carmen Ortiz et Pam Osbome

Best Junior:  Bam Bam Kazaam of Cotonnelle.  Breeder/owner:  Valerie Ford

Best male:  Ch Simba of Contonnelle.  Breeder:  Valerie Ford;  owners:  Randal and Pam Osborne and Luis Ortiz

Best female:  Barbie d’Eramprunya.  Breeder:  Christina Mejias;  owners:  Luis and Carmen Ortiz

 

Barbara Fenn prepared very nicely the table for all the prices for the winners and for the exhibitors.

Mrs Janssen was very appreciated by all the participants.  She took her time to discuss with the exhibitors. 

All the participants enjoyed to be together, it was a great weekend!
