Barken’s Blame it On Rio of Mi-Toi

The 2005 Speciality was hold during the Canine Federation of Canada, September 17, 2005, at ST-Hyacinthe, Quebec. 

18 Cotons were registered, from Canada and from USA.    The judge was Mrs Inger Ronander, a reputable FCI judge, also a Coton breeder, from Norway. 

There were 11 males and 7 females, 4 puppies and 14 adults.   With the CFC, each dog receives a complete evaluation and a qualification which can be Excellent, Very good, good, Sufficient or Disqualified.  For the puppies, they can be evaluated Very promising, Promising, Sufficient Promising or Disqualified.

Our Canadian and American Cotons received a very good evaluation:  for the puppies, 3 were evaluated Very promising, only one was evaluated Promising.   For the adults, 9 were evaluated Excellent, 4 were evaluated Very good and one was disqualified because the color.

The Specialty Committee did excellent work.  Every participant received a gift.  The winners received each a trophy and a ribbon.  The participants were very pleased with our specialty and enjoyed meeting and speaking with each other.
